Miss Premila Kollipara is a Consultant Gynaecologist at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust in Essex. She also practices at Spire Hartswood Private Hospital in Brentwood and Spire Roding Private Hospital in Redbridge. She graduated from the University of Madras in 1973 and had her first UK based job in 1979 at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Therefore, she is clearly an accomplished clinician, having had over 35 years experience in obstetrics and gynaecology. Miss Kollipara's specialist skills are vast, particularly in the fields of colposcopy, ultrasound and female urinary incontinence. This is reflected in her positions as a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, a member of the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSSP) and a member of the British Association of Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology (BRITSPAG). She is also very passionate about teaching and has received the Top Teacher Award for 3 consecutive years from University College London.
