Mr. Saurabh Phadnis is a Consultant Gynaecologist at The Royal London Hospital, part of the Barts Health NHS Trust, where he specialises in gynaecological oncology. His general gynaecology training took place in high-demand hospitals across the East of England, followed by subspecialty training at the renowned Barts Gynaecological Cancer Centre.At Royal London Hospital, Mr. Phadnis serves as co-lead for Colposcopy and is actively involved in the Gynaecological Oncology Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings at The London Clinic, where he co-chairs discussions on the diagnosis and treatment of suspected gynaecological cancers. His expertise extends to the Cancer Advisory Board of a major pharmaceutical company, where he contributes to cancer treatment strategies.Mr. Phadnis provides private consultations at London Gynaecology’s locations at the Portland Hospital and their new clinic in the City of London. His research interests include the impact of cervical pre-cancer treatments on pregnancy outcomes, for which he has received several prestigious awards at national and international conferences. Notably, he was awarded the RCOG-Bernhard Baron Travelling Fellowship, allowing him to train in advanced ovarian cancer surgery at a centre of excellence in Germany.Specialising in complex minimally invasive and open abdominal surgery, Mr. Phadnis has particular interests in fertility preservation in gynaecological cancer, familial gynaecological cancer, and advanced ovarian cancer cytoreduction surgery. An experienced hysteroscopic surgeon and accredited colposcopy trainer with the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP), Mr. Phadnis brings over a decade of experience as a colposcopist. He is dedicated to a holistic, personalised approach to patient care, ensuring each patient receives tailored, compassionate treatment.
