Dr. Aneta Obloza is a Consultant Urogynaecologist who practices at Spire Leicester Hospital, part of Spire Healthcare, and also holds a current NHS post at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. She is an accredited sub-specialist in Urogynaecology, specializing in female pelvic floor disorders, and has been practicing in this field since 2019. Dr. Obloza’s expertise encompasses the treatment of pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction, recurrent UTIs, bladder pain syndrome, and pelvic mesh complications. Dr. Obloza’s clinical interests include vaginal and pelvic floor surgeries such as vaginal hysterectomy, anterior and posterior vaginal repair, sacrospinus fixation, and fascial sling procedures. She also specializes in advanced treatments like Botox injections, sacral nerve modulation, and mid-urethral slings for stress urinary incontinence. In her previous role at Liverpool Women's Hospital, she was the Gynaecology Safety Lead, and she has been involved in research, including her project on pelvic floor imaging in pregnancy.Her work is focused on providing comprehensive care for conditions such as pelvic organ prolapse, stress urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, and complications related to mesh implants, while also engaging in academic research and contributing to the field through publications and presentations.
