Mr Kingsley Mahendra is a highly experienced Consultant Gynaecologist and Endometriosis Specialist, with over 30 years of clinical experience in gynaecology and surgery, and more than 20 years at consultant level. He has worked in the UK since 2003 and has been a  NHS consultant 10 years at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. He also sees patients privately. He has particular expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, heavy and irregular periods, and abnormal uterine bleeding. Mr Kingsley Mahendra is a BSGE-accredited endometriosis surgeon, with over 10 years’ experience operating within an accredited National endometriosis centre. This means he is trained to manage both straightforward and complex cases using safe, evidence-based surgical techniques. Mr Kingsley Mahendra is also a high-volume hysteroscopic surgeon, performing outpatient diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy regularly. He has completed over 1,000 hysteroscopic procedures, including endometrial assessment and hysteroscopic surgeries. Many of these procedures are performed in an outpatient setting, allowing patients to receive prompt diagnosis and treatment with minimal disruption and fast recovery. In addition, Mr Kingsley Mahendra is a UK-accredited robotic gynaecological surgeon, offering advanced minimally invasive surgery where appropriate. Robotic and laparoscopic techniques can reduce post-operative pain, scarring, and recovery time compared with open surgery.
