Ms Tejal Amin is an expert Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a particular focus on early pregnancy and gynaecological ultrasound, emergency gynaecology, and benign gynaecological surgery, including outpatient procedures. As part of the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, she provides comprehensive management of a wide range of gynaecological conditions such as menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, and menopausal symptoms.Ms Amin graduated from University College London in 2006 and completed her postgraduate specialty training in North-west London. During this period, she underwent a three-year clinical research fellowship in advanced gynaecological and early pregnancy ultrasound at University College London Hospital under Prof. Davor Jurkovic. She earned an MD (Res) from the University of London for her research on pelvic venous circulation, pelvic venous thrombosis, and pelvic pain, which has been presented nationally and internationally. She has also published research articles on the ultrasound diagnosis of intrauterine adhesions, endometrial pathology, and early pregnancy complications. She also performs outpatient procedures like hysteroscopy to remove polyps or fibroids and surgical treatment of miscarriages.
