Mr. Gibson Akpobome is a highly experienced Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician, specialising in subfertility treatment, pelvic floor surgery, and urinary incontinence (Urogynaecology). An accredited laparoscopic and minimal access surgeon, Mr. Akpobome is also skilled in colposcopy, offering this essential service at his Trust.Mr. Akpobome received his specialist training across prestigious hospitals in South East London, including King's College Hospital, Princess Royal University Hospital, and Benenden Hospital. His extensive training in Urogynaecology and prolapse surgery at Benenden Hospital, combined with RCOG-accredited laparoscopic training at Farnborough and Benenden, has equipped him with advanced skills in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. He is also proficient in hysteroscopic assessments and treatments for menorrhagia and related conditions.With a strong background in Infertility Management and Assisted Conception from King’s College Hospital, Mr. Akpobome is fully accredited by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and the British Fertility Society.
