Mr Kyle Gilmour is a highly experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, currently practicing privately in at various around South Manchester, Stockport and Cheshire. He graduated from the University of Manchester in 1994 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) before completing a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) in 2005. He became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2000 and was later awarded Fellowship in 2013. With more than two decades of consultant experience, Mr Gilmour offers expertise across a wide spectrum of gynaecological conditions. His specialist interests include hysterectomy, prolapse surgery, endometriosis, fibroid management, colposcopy, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), menopause care, and vulval disorders. He is highly skilled in laparoscopic and minimally invasive techniques, regularly performing procedures such as hysterectomy, myomectomy, endometrial ablation, and surgery for ovarian cysts. Mr Gilmour has a strong academic background, with research interests in hormone replacement therapy (HRT), menopause, and menorrhagia management. He is a member of several professional organisations, including the British Menopause Society (BMS) and the British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP), and has been recognised with six Clinical Excellence Awards.
