About Professor

Professor Nick Panay is the Founder and Director of Hormone Health and a leading Consultant Gynaecologist specialising in reproductive medicine, menopause and menstrual disorders. He is also a Professor of Practice at Imperial College London and holds a consultant post within Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. He has worked at Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea Hospital for over two decades, where he directs the Menopause and PMS Centres, leading a busy clinical and research team dedicated to improving care for women across all stages of hormonal health. With extensive clinical experience and academic leadership, Professor Panay has authored over 200 peer-reviewed publications and regularly presents at national and international scientific conferences as a keynote and plenary speaker. His research focuses on menopause, premature ovarian insufficiency, premenstrual syndrome, androgens, and contraception, and includes both translational and pharmaceutically sponsored studies. He continues to collaborate on research initiatives with institutions such as Imperial College London and runs active clinical programmes from locations including One Welbeck. Professor Panay also serves as a Guest Professor at the Beijing Obstetrics and Gynaecology Hospital, Capital Medical University. He is committed to advancing education in women’s health and is a recognised global figure in this field. His leadership roles include Immediate Past President of the International Menopause Society, Past Chairman of the British Menopause Society, and Medical Advisory Council Member for the British Menopause Society. He is also Chairman of the National Association for Premenstrual Syndromes and serves on the Clinical Advisory Board of the International Association for Premenstrual Disorders. His work has also supported patient advocacy as Patron of the Daisy Network. Through his clinics, Professor Panay offers highly personalised care to women, supporting them through the sexual, reproductive and post-reproductive phases of life with tailored treatment plans. He is widely respected for his expertise, compassion, and unwavering commitment to improving the standards of women’s healthcare.
