Dr. Deepti Cheema is a highly qualified and dedicated medical professional with a passion for women’s health. As a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the University Hospitals of Birmingham, Dr. Cheema brings extensive expertise and a patient-centred approach to her practice. Dr. Cheema graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, India, in 2002. She pursued her postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the UK and achieved Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in 2009. Since 2016, she has been working as a consultant, providing compassionate and comprehensive care to her patients. With a holistic approach to treatment, Dr. Cheema prioritises understanding each patient’s unique needs, ensuring personalised care and effective treatment plans. Her areas of expertise encompass a broad spectrum of gynaecological concerns, including gynaecology scanning, menstrual problems, contraception, sexual health, perimenopause and menopause management, as well as hysteroscopic and laparoscopic procedures.
