About Mr

Dr. Nitish Narvekar is a Consultant Specialist in Gynaecology, Reproductive Medicine, and Minimal Access Surgery including Endometriosis and Fibroid Surgery based in London. He sees private patients at London Bridge Hospital, St John & St Elizabeth Hospital, and Guthrie Clinic, King's College Hospital, all in London.  He is an expert in the management of several gynaecological conditions including endometriosis, fibroids, infertility, uterine anomalies/septum, menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, miscarriage, and abdominal cerclage. He specialises in advanced gynaecological surgery having performed more than 1000 complex operations and is the Lead for BSGE Endometriosis Centre at both London Bridge and King's College Hospitals.  Dr. Narvekar qualified in 1990 and trained in various hospitals and clinics in the UK and abroad. He completed a research degree MD “Doctor of Medicine” in Reproductive Medicine at the University of Edinburgh, followed by advanced training in Reproductive Medicine, and Minimal Access Surgery at University College Hospital London. He was appointed as NHS Consultant in 2008 and admitted as Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologists ‘FRCOG’ in 2013.    He has a wide range of research interests which has led to several publications and presentations. He is actively involved in the training, examination, supervision and mentoring of students, specialists, and fellow Consultants.
