Mr Bhattacharjee is actively engaged in research and teaching. He trains postgraduate trainees from Imperial College School of Medicine . He is a trainer in Gynaecology ultrasound and Gynaecological surgery for the RCOG Advanced skills modules. He teaches in the MRCOG courses of the Royal College (RCOG) and has been a reviewer of research papers for British Medical Journal & RCOG World Congress . He was on the Editorial Board of the RSM journal

RCOG. He is an examiner of MRCOG examinations. He is Treasurer of International Society of Reproductive Surgery & Fallopian Tubes.

He regularly trains doctors and nurses in Africa and India in Gynaecological & Obstetrics procedures (Essential Life saving skills for mother & baby: LSTM-WHO) . He has multiple publications & presentations at national & international journals and conferences .

About Mr

Mr Parijat Bhattacharjee is a Consultant Gynaecologist with more than 20 years experience in the field. Mr Bhattacharjee offers One-stop service for most gynaecological problems including Infertility, Menstrual disorders and abnormal bleeding including fibroids and Pelvic pain including endometriosis and ovarian cysts. This includes an ultrasound scan and if possible, treatment at the initial visit. He offers surgical treatment for Ovarian cysts, fibroids (myomectomy), menstrual disorders (endometrial ablation or hysterectomy) , pelvic pain including endometriosis. Most of the procedures are done through Minimal Access i.e. keyhole surgery (Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy) . Mr. Bhattacharjee has a special interest in the management of Fertility problems. He does this both in the NHS and in the private sector. He provides a One-stop service including most investigations and ultrasound scan at the same appointment. Only if surgery is needed or tests that cannot be done then are booked. He also works with a well known IVF clinic if further management is necessary.
