Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
Miss Jessica Preshaw is a Consultant Gynaecologist with a specialist interest in benign gynaecology, advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, gynaecological ultrasound, and endometriosis. She qualified from the University of Bristol in 2006 and has been working in gynaecology since 2010. She was appointed as a consultant at North Bristol NHS Trust in 2018.Miss Preshaw has extensive expertise in managing benign gynaecological conditions using minimally invasive techniques. She was awarded one of only five national advanced laparoscopic surgery posts, which she completed at Southmead Hospital. This advanced training equipped her with the skills to perform complex keyhole surgery and she continues to work within the Southmead Endometriosis Centre, providing specialist care for women with this challenging condition.In addition to her clinical practice, Miss Preshaw has a strong interest in medical education and research. She has published and presented her work on ultrasound and laparoscopic education at both national and international conferences. She is actively involved in teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and is an engaged member of the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy.
