Mr. Michael Ah-Moye is the founder and CEO of the Herts and Essex Fertility Centre. He has very extensive experience in the field, having worked for almost 34 years in the areas of IVF and Assisted Conception since he began with the NHS in Oxford in 1984. In 1985, along with two other consultant doctors, he founded the Fertility and IVF Unit at the Wellington Hospital in London. This was under the directorship of Prof. Ian Craft, a consultant famous for his innovative work on IVF, the second individual in the UK responsible for an IVF birth. The unit co-founded by Mr. Ah-Moye became the largest and busiest IVF unit in the world with over 3500 IVF cycles performed per year. Mr. Ah-Moye was the deputy medical director of this unit at the time he left in 1989 to found his own specialist IVF clinic.Mr. Ah-Moye is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, and also has a membership of the European Society for Human Reproduction, the British Fertility Society, Embryology and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.His extensive experience and specialist knowledge in the field of Assisted Conception as resulted in the successful and safe delivery of thousands of babies, and the creation of thousands of new families.
