Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
Miss Eva Myriokefalitaki Consultant Gynaecological Oncology Surgeon based at The Christie. She has extensive experience performing Minimal Access Surgery (robotic and laparoscopic) for endometrial and cervical cancer, as well surgery for vulval cancer. She also specialises in staging and fertility sparing for early stage ovarian cancer, and cytoreductive surgery for advanced disease. After graduating in Medicine from the University of Athens in Greece in 2003, she went on to complete speciality training in gynaecology surgery. She was awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery by the University D' Auvergne in Clermont-Ferrand in 2013. Following this she completed a Master's Degree in the Science of Endometrial Cancer Research at the University of Athens in 2014. She is also an accredited colposcopist and trainer in colposcopy. Miss Myriokefalitaki completed a 3-year RCOG-accredited sub-specialty training programme in Gynaecological oncology at the University Hospitals of Leicester in 2015. She was subsequently appointed as a Consultant Gynaecological Oncology Surgeon at The Christie. She has completed specialist training in Robotic Surgery and was awarded a Diploma in Gynaecological Oncology Surgery by European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO) in 2016.
