Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
Miss Naaila Aslam is a full-time Consultant Gynaecologist at University College London Hospitals, with over 25 years of experience in women’s health. Her areas of expertise include early pregnancy care, gynaecology ultrasound, and minimally invasive surgery.She provides specialist care for a broad range of benign gynaecological conditions, including heavy or irregular periods, pelvic pain, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, fibroids, and early pregnancy complications. She regularly performs advanced keyhole procedures, including laparoscopic hysterectomy and outpatient hysteroscopy, as well as surgical treatment for miscarriage.Miss Aslam graduated from the University of Leeds in 1994 with distinction in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She completed postgraduate training in London and Bristol, including a two-year research fellowship in early pregnancy and ultrasound at King’s College Hospital and a clinical fellowship in advanced minimal access surgery at UCLH. She was awarded an MD from the University of London for her research into ultrasound assessment of ovarian tumours and has presented her work internationally.She served as Clinical Lead for Gynaecology at UCLH and remains dedicated to delivering expert, compassionate care to women across all stages of reproductive health. Her approach combines clinical precision with a strong emphasis on patient comfort and individualised care.
