Dr. Hellner is a Consultant Gynaecologist at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, the Clinical Lead for Colposcopy and Senior Fellow in Women's Health at the Nuffield Department of Reproductive & Women's Health, Oxford University. She received her medical degree from the Humboldt-University of Berlin, Germany, and trained in Obstetrics & Gynaecology between 2004 and 2015 in Berlin and Oxford.Dr. Hellner is passionate is passionate in the field of research, having obtained a medical PhD and spent 4 years as a postdoctoral research fellow at Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA, where she worked on the discovery of novel therapeutics for cervical cancers.Dr. Hellner joined the University of Oxford in 2011, where she is continuing her research interest, leading a research program in the field of molecular biology and clinical management of HPV induced cervical disease. She has authored many papers and published a book chapter. Her clinical work focusses on detection and treatment of precancerous cervical disease.
