Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
Miss Beth Cartwright is a highly regarded Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, where she serves as the lead consultant for Early Pregnancy and Acute Gynaecology. Her areas of expertise encompass a range of gynaecological services, including early pregnancy care with ultrasound, management of ovarian cysts, pelvic pain, fibroids, bleeding issues, and postpartum care. A graduate of Cambridge University and Imperial College London, Miss Cartwright achieved distinction in Obstetrics and Gynaecology during her studies. She is also actively involved in teaching and has been recognised for her contributions to education, receiving a nomination for the RCOG Trainer of the Year award in 2024. SHe is the RCOG College Tutor, responsible for the teaching and training of resident doctors. As the previous Gynaecology Clinical Governance Lead at Chelsea and Westminster, she is dedicated to advancing patient safety and maintaining high standards of clinical care. With a strong academic presence, Miss Cartwright has published widely in peer-reviewed journals, contributed to textbook chapters, and presented her work at national and international conferences. Known for her empathetic and straightforward approach, she prioritises patient reassurance and collaborative treatment planning. Proficient in early pregnancy and gynaecological scanning, she is able to provide a comprehensive, one-stop service for many gynaecological issues.
