Miss Sanjay Kumari is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist based at the Royal Free London Trust at Barnet/Chase Farm hospital. She is an RCOG/BSCCP-accredited colposcopist and leads the colposcopy service at Barnet Hospital.Her special interests are in the following areas:Menstrual disordersFibroidsPCOSPelvic painEndometriosisMiscarriageMenopauseHRTSexual healthColposcopy/management of abnormal smears.She also performs open and laparoscopic surgery, as well as hysteroscopic surgery, particularly hysteroscopic resection of fibroids and polyp removal. She is qualified to remove polyps in the outpatient setting, using Truclear without the need for hospital admission or anaesthetic.Miss Kumari earned her medical degree in 1992 and went on to complete her specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at a number of London teaching hospitals, including University College London Hospital. She also completed advanced training in hysteroscopic surgery.
