Ms. Archana Dixit is a highly experienced and respected consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist, with her NHS role based at the West Middlesex University Hospital. In her current role she is lead for endocrine disroders and HIV in pregnancy as well as being the RCOG College tutor. Ms. Dixit provides first-class pre-conception counselling and advice. Her gynaecological practice is broad and includes well-woman checks such as cervical smears, management of menstrual disorders, fibroids, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), contraception, and menopausal symptoms, ensuring that every woman receives the highest standard of care possible. She underwent training in India at the prestigious Lady Hardinge Medical College following her medical degree, and completed her training in obstetrics and gynaecology in 1998. Following this she then worked for 2 years in Oman before undertaking further specialist training in London, largely at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. In 2001, she earned the Gold Medal for excellence in Membership examinations at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG). She was also nominated for and was a finalist in the Professions Category of the prestigious Asian Women of Achievement Awards, London in 2018; another testament to her excellence. She sees private patients at The Cromwell Hospital, The Clementine Churchill Hospital and Syon Clinic. She is also an honorary senior clinical lecturer at Imperial College, London. Passionate about educating future doctors, she is a clinical tutor and content expert at Brunel Medical School, London.
