Mr Anil Tailor, Consultant Gynaecologist, is currently working within the Royal Surrey County Hospital and St Peter's Hospital. He also sees patients privately in BMI The Runnymede Hospital and the Nuffield Health Hospital in Guildford. He has a wealth of experience in treating a wide range of gynaecological conditions including gynaecological oncology, abnormal vaginal bleeding, abnormal smears and colposcopy, and ovarian cyst treatment.Mr Tailor is highly experienced in performing gynaecological procedures, he offers pelvic ultrasound scans, as well as laparoscopic and robotic surgeries (Da Vinci robot) for hysterectomies. When patients are referred to him for suspected cancer, they will receive both a full examination as well as a pelvic ultrasound, reducing the time spent in hospital.Mr Tailor is an active member of the research community, publishing work on ovarian cysts nationally and internationally. He is also a founder of the British and Irish Association of Robotic Gynaecological Surgeons (BIARGS) and continues to actively engage in the teaching of robotic surgery to other surgeons.
