Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
Mr Anil Gudi is a Consultant Gynaecologist at Fertility Plus, based at 92 Harley Street, London. He specialises in assisted conception techniques, fertility preservation, keyhole surgery, endometriosis, and all aspects of fertility treatment. His expertise includes developing new stimulation protocols, tailoring treatments for individual patients, and introducing innovative techniques for women with multiple failed cycles, genetic screening of embryos, and egg freezing. He has also carried out extensive research into polycystic ovarian syndrome in both the UK and the Asian population in India.Mr Gudi qualified in medicine in 1990 and became a full member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1999. He was appointed as a Consultant Gynaecologist in 2005. He trained in fertility medicine at Bombay Hospital in India and Homerton Hospital in London, where he also undertook significant research.From 2008 to 2020, Mr Gudi was the lead at Homerton Fertility Centre. During his tenure, he was instrumental in developing the unit into one of the largest fertility centres in London. Under his leadership, the centre established a research department, undertook more than 20 major projects, and published over 100 peer-reviewed articles. He also helped build an internationally recognised teaching and training centre, attracting professionals worldwide and contributing to advances in reproductive medicine.Since stepping down from his post at Homerton, Mr Gudi has dedicated his time to private practice, continuing his work in advanced fertility treatments and patient-centred care. Alongside his clinical practice, he is the founder of Fertility Plus, established in 2005, which has since expanded into a leading provider of personalised fertility services. He is also involved in medical education through Fertility Courses, an online platform offering specialist training and resources in reproductive medicine.
