Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
Miss Mehrnoosh Aref-Adib is a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She is highly qualified and has over 14 years of experience in the field. She obtained her MBBS from the University of London in 2005, and subsequently completed a Diploma from the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive healthcare, a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Ultrasound for Obstetrics and Gynaecology, a Bachelor's in Endoscopy and achieved a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) from the Royal College of Gynaecologists. She is fully accredited by the General Medical Council (GMC) and the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP). With her rich experience, Miss Aref-Adib has worked in many hospitals across the UK, including Whittington Hospital NHS Trust, North Middlesex University Hospital, Queen's Hospital, Whipps Cross Hospital and Newham University Hospital. She has completed extensive training throughout her career, such as a Laparoscopy course, Practical Obstetric Scanning Course, Third and Fourth Degree Perineal Repair Course, CARE course in Minimal Access Surgery, a 6-month course in Management and a Masters course in Laparoscopic Surgery. Miss Aref-Adib also shares her expertise by teaching and training students in the field. Some of her teaching experience includes Basic Laparoscopy Skills in Gynaecology at London Deanery, Agora Laparoscopy, Agora Gynaecology courses and a CCMIG-AGORA laparoscopy course in Melbourne. She has been actively involved in research and is published in many medical journals, she has presented this work extensively nationally and internationally. She has been recognised for her achievements with several awards, such as the EBCOG Prize in 2014, the Adult Prize from Newham University Hospital and the Trainee Oral Presentation at the London Speciality School of Obstetrics and Gynaecology 6th Annual School Conference.
