About Mr

Mr Moiad Alazzam is a dual-certified Obstetrician & Gynaecologist and Subspecialist Gynaecological Oncologist. They are passionate about education, innovation and research. Mr Alazzam qualified from Jordan University of Science and Technology and was a lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology before moving to the UK. They completed specialist training, receiving dual CCT accreditation. Mr Alazzam undertook a BSGE travelling fellowship to train in robotic surgery in Cork, Ireland, and an ESGO travelling fellowship to train in advanced laparoscopic surgery at the Oscar Lambret Centre in Lille, France. Mr Alazzam is actively involved in research and is widely published. They are frequently invited to speak at national and international meetings. Their main area of interest is health innovation and technology. They are a member of several national and international societies. Mr Alazzam has previously served as a council member of the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE) and has chaired the guidelines and robotics subcommittees.
