Ms Daniella Cardenas is a highly skilled Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with a special interest in fertility. She graduated from the Central University in Venezuela in 2011 with the degree of Licentiate in Medicine. She then completed her Specialty Training in Gynaecology and Obstetrics at the University of Barcelona in 2017. She holds an International Master's Degree in “Human Reproductive Medicine” from the University Juan Carlos I of Madrid-Spain, as well as a Master's in Foetal and Maternal Medicine from the University of Barcelona, Spain.Ms Cardenas is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the British Fertility Society, as well as the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE). She is highly skilled in gynaecological and early pregnancy ultrasound, oocyte retrieval, embryo transfer, and IUI. Her special interests include PGD cases, gamete donation, social and medical oocyte cryopreservation, immunology in reproduction, and repeated miscarriages.Ms Cardenas is passionate about fertility awareness and education and prioritises involving patients in decision-making and tailoring treatment to their needs. She has published several articles in top medical journals and presented her work in national and international meetings. Ms Cardenas is fluent in English and Spanish and has a good understanding of Portuguese.
