Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
Mr Anoop Rehal is a consultant in obstetrics and fetal medicine at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust where he has worked full-time since 2020. He also works at the Midlands Ultrasound and Medical Services (MUMS), which is a specialist consultant-led medical practice in Solihull. He has special interests in the following areas: High-risk obstetrics Multiple pregnancy Medical disorders in pregnancy Mr Rehal gained his MB BS in 2008 from Imperial College London. He then earned a postgraduate certificate in clinical leadership from the University of Leicester in 2010. In 2015, he gained membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. He subsequently obtained a research fellowship at the Harris Birthright Research Centre for Fetal Medicine at Kings College Hospital, under the supervision of Professor Kypros Nicolaides. Following that, he received dual sub-specialist certification from Kings College Hospital in both Obstetrics and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He is currently the lead consultant for the labour ward at Heartlands Hospital, where he provides obstetric care for both low and high-risk pregnancies.
