Mr Economides is an experienced consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with special expertise in ultrasound. He offers the highest level of care to all of his patients and is an expert in his field.Mr Economides is internationally known for his skill in obstetric ultrasound, particularly in the early stages of pregnancy. His other research interests include 4D ultrasound, miscarriage, fetal health, high-risk pregnancies (including multiple births), and inherited bleeding disorders in women.He graduated in 1980 from Charing Cross Medical School and went on to study Obstetrics and Gynaecology at prestigious institutions such as St Bartholomew's and King's College hospitals in London, as well as the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. He also trained in fetal medicine at the Harris Birthright Centre in London and Oxford. Fetal medicine is a branch of medicine that involves assessing an unborn baby's growth and well-being, maintaining health, and diagnosing abnormalities using technology such as ultrasound.Mr Economides is a founder member of the British Gynaecological Imaging Society and a member of the British Maternal Fetal Medicine Society.
