About Mr

Mr Mahantesh Karoshi is a highly experienced Consultant Gynaecologist with a specialist interest in minimally invasive treatments for fibroids, adenomyosis, and endometriosis. He sees private patients at 108 Harley Street, London, with a focus on reproductive health, benign gynaecological conditions, and innovative treatments that avoid unnecessary surgery. With over a decade of experience, Mr Karoshi is known for combining advanced surgical expertise with a calm and considered approach to care. Following his medical training, he was awarded a prestigious fellowship by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, which took him to Argentina to further his expertise in managing complex placental conditions after multiple caesarean sections. He has led the introduction of fertility-preserving technologies, including being the first in his department to offer the TruClear system for uterine polyp removal—an approach that is less invasive and more suitable for women wishing to preserve fertility. In recent years, his practice has expanded to include incision-free fibroid treatments such as Sonata and StarMed radiofrequency ablation. He has also adopted non-invasive diagnostic tools for conditions like endometrial cancer and endometriosis, including the use of WID-qC, advanced ultrasound, MRI, and newer tests such as Ziwig and Endosure. Since joining the specialist register in 2010, Mr Karoshi has built a practice centred on truly listening to his patients. He recognises that each woman’s experience is unique and takes the time to investigate symptoms thoroughly, offering clear and individualised treatment options that reflect each patient’s needs and values. His approach is compassionate, collaborative, and holistic. He believes in empowering women with knowledge, enabling them to make confident and informed decisions about their health at every stage of life. Outside of his clinical work, Mr Karoshi is vegetarian, enjoys long-distance running, and practises meditation and classical music as ways to relax and recharge.
